Imperial Tattoo Supply sells tattoo equipment and consumables only to licensed tattoo professionals. 

Unlicensed tattoo artists and shops have been shown to contribute to the spread of infectious diseases including HIV, Hepatitis Viruses, and MRSA.  Sterilization practices in these environments lack regulatory oversight and the artists lack appropriate training, experience, and equipment to properly insure the sterility of the tattooing environment.  Imperial Tattoo Supply fights against the diversion of tattoo equipment into these dangerous environments.  You trained hard to become a tattoo artist; don't support a supply company that sells to dangerous and unskilled scratchers.

Since January 1st, 2011, the State of Minnesota requires all tattoo artists and piercers to hold an active license:

If you try to buy tattoo supplies from Imperial within Minnesota and you aren't on this list, then YOU AREN'T BUYING FROM US!  Save us both the time and trouble.  Get a license first.

For all other states, we make every effort to confirm that the person placing the order is a professional tattoo artist and that the items are being shipped to a professional tattoo shop or to a known professional tattoo artist.  We make call backs to the affiliated tattoo shop after our accounts manager reviews the order and validates the professional standing of the person placing the order.
